The European Advanced Course in Clinical Tuberculosis

This course offers the opportunity to update your knowledge of clinical tuberculosis.

Topics include: epidemiology and TB control, noting the contributions of molecular biology to this area; diagnosis, with an update on the GeneXpert test and advances in near-patient tests; treatment, noting the evidence base for the new drugs and planned clinical trials; the management of complex patients, including children, people living with HIV and other immunocompromised hosts; and a discussion of the future prospects for TB control and research.

The course faculty has a comprehensive experience in the field of clinical tuberculosis. The program is designed to be interactive, with case presentations and opportunities to discuss topics and network with European colleagues.



The next European Advanced Course in Clinical Tuberculosis will be held in Stockholm, Sweden 18-19 September 2017. More information about the training, registration & accomodation is available here. The current version of the program is found here, registration is open at this link.
